TTM-J0601 tester can be used to determine impact resistance of polymers. It calculates the energy absorbed by the loss of potential energy after impact. Therefore, it's very important to reduce energy loss like friction between machine parts, and use accurate hammers to insure correct initial energy.
TTM-J0601 has a PLC display that can measure and subtract factors which influence the test to provide users accurate test result. Customers can also purchase additional software to edit test report on computer. Different vice and hammer of TTM's impact tester can be select for IZOD or CHARPY test for both ISO and ASTM standard.
